With feather, bird can see the world more clearly than us.....Dog lives in the world that dominated by smell, its sense of smell far more acute than us...Compare with other animal, our senses are cruelly less. Flight is a very amazing skill to me. If i can fly, my first attempt will definitely rounding the earth. But how do i navigate my self back to my home or some where specific ? GPS ? Is a big problem......For migrating bird, they use position of sun during day to navigate. At night, they use star constellation of the north star for navigation system. Besides, they can use earth magnetic system to navigate north and south...Is their natural ability to do that, How amazing!!!

How do fish hunt and avoid being hunted in liquid world? Water is an incredible compound, without it there will be nothing but dust on earth. Habitation in these liquid require certain ability or senses to survive....No doubt, it is definitely not a habitat for Homo sapiens. One of the greatest senses used by dolphin is echolocation or sonar. By using echolocation, it can accurately detect object in motion and its distance. Dolphin and ray fish can detect earth magnetic field and create a contour image for its navigation and finding food. Detect every tiny electrical discharges release by other life form. In the stream of Australia, live one exotic creature named Platypus (mammal). It has a bill which can sense not only touch but electrical discharge of fresh water life form. Among mammal, electrical senses is rare. But among fish, it is relatively common. Eg, elephant trunk fish.

Insect like Bee can sense electromagnetic wave release by storm and "Fly for its life". Insect like Ant are sensitive to humidity, temperature and air pressure. Colony of ant wait many weeks for the perfect weather to mate. Mating frenzy......

Bird has different flight which depends on weight of bird. Large bird like albatross, flamingo glide and soar to save energy, small bird like finches have to keep flapping its wing to maintain its flight. Bird has plume that can sense the air current to avoid bad weather. Insect like locust has air current detector at its antennae. No animal is more sensitive to air current than scorpion, it has fine hair on its body to detect air current. For century, scorpion are said to have mythical power in earthquake prediction...Snake with its whole body glide on the ground also can detect a tiny movement on ground... other indication of earthquake like chicken running, bird singing at the wrong time of day....may be....

Bats is the only mammal which can fly....membrane wing combined appendage. Bats use echolocation to navigate and hunt even though it eye sight is actually quite good..Vampire bats have heat detector at its nose, when it land on its prey, it will search for tissue that contain high quantity of food, which is blood...Somme snake can see its prey or moving life form in heat...

When i was small, the movie of shark "JAW" always shown on TV. The ferocious , fierce, meat thirsty hunters, Great white shark...For your information, most of the shark actually won't just attack human like the scene in the movie... And you won't find shark in tropical water, except whale shark..What makes shark such a great hunter? Shark actually have all character of a perfect hunter. First of all, shark can smell blood from over a km away. It is one of the fastest swimmer among all others. It has ferocious and razor sharp teeth. And last, It can detect earth magnetic field's tiny change. ....scared? ...Don worried, you may only see it in the aquarium...
